This book would be perfect to read on one of those cold, and snowy days, curled up with a blanket, and a warm cup of coco, or tea.
Liam was mistaken for his twin brother Kyle who was away serving in the military. Liam has not been able to contact him. When Kyle's newborn daughter, Maggie was dropped off at his house, he knew he had to take care of his niece. He had no clue how to take care of a baby, so he called and requested a nanny as soon as possible. He was shocked that it was Hadley that came to his rescue. He had a crush on her years ago. It was sweet how they took care of baby Maggie. I really enjoyed the part where the three took a small vacation. They were walking hand in hand as snow was falling around them. When they got snowed in, they found ways to heat up the cold winters night.

This book had a bit of humor, romance, heart-warming moments and life lessons weaved throughout the pages. Hadley had been carrying around guilt for years. Her best friend had been hurt, and she blamed herself. No amount of guilt can change the past. Many times the people effected has already moved on with life. When we forgive our self, we allow ours self to be happy. Hadley forgave herself after she found out her friend was doing great. It allowed her to follow her heart, and experience the love that Liam was offering.

My only complaint about the story is I would have liked to read about Kyle's reaction to having a daughter. With Kyle being in the military, he could have been deployed for a year, and it would make it near impossible to get a hold of him. So I do understand why Liam couldn't get a hold of his brother.

I got a free copy of Nanny Makes Three by Cat Schield, who is a very talented author, for a honest review. Thank you Cat for asking me to read this delightful book.
'Nanny Makes Three' was a barely tolerable read for me and that is attributed to the wishy-washy heroine. She heaps upon herself the blame and guilt for everything that happens to everyone around her. Example Her best friend wanted to beat her in barrel racing and this friend also saw that the guy she liked did not like her but was interested in our heroine. She connived to get him and thought nothing of her supposed best friend. When Anna, the friend, runs her next race she is careless and ends up paralyzed. So for ten years our heroine will not touch a horse nor allow herself happiness for if she would have only lost that race Anna would not have been injured. She basically hid away at school. It is like that with all the people she knows. She takes the fault and blame for every negative thing that happens to them and most of time she wasn't even present. It got so old and frustrating. Sackcloth and ashes anyone? Why did her parents not help her through this? Well it seems they wanted to sell here prized horse to pay for college and she has spent many many years studying for career she doesn't like. IMO she was weak and dim. She had to be begged to do anything and everything. The redundancy was too much.
It has all the elements of a harlequin desire novel- romance, wealth, baby, pet, exotic locations which is a ranch of course set in Texas with a getaway to the snowy mountain of Colorado.
Liam is a rancher and he finds his life turned upside down when a woman drops a baby off at his house claiming the baby is his. But he has been celibate for the past year and this is not possible. The only way the baby could be related to his family is through his twin brother who is in the military and who has flings left, right and center.
Until liam can get ahold of his brother, he has to care for the baby so he will need a nanny.
Hadley is the nanny who has been sent to care for the baby. When she discovers liam as her employer, she is taken back to her painful past when she was the best barrel racer and had a crush on liam ten years ago. But a painful accident caused her to give up her dream and take up a different career. Now liam keeps reminding her of all that she has lost.
Spending time together caring for an infant and being in close proximity with liam caused sparks to fly between them but they have to first shed their individual baggage before they can find their HEA.
It was a good short read but there were some loose ends that weren't wrapped up at the end of the story. Eg did liam end up claiming Maggie as his daughter? What happen to that case? Did his brother ever acknowledged he had a daughter? The author did not give closure to these in the story so I'm left wondering which I don't like.

This book was great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars because we never knew what Kyle, Maggie's actual father thought of having a daughter or if Liam and Hadley get to keep Maggie. But over all it was enjoyable
